Error 775

Had my MIL's laptop over the weekend. She was having problems downloading NORTON and everything else.
Anyway, I managed to connect it to my broadband via an ethernet cable, this involved several little tweaks over a couple of days.
Thought I'd switched everything back to dialup settings.
But getting "Error 775" when it tries to dial. Any ideas?
Unless I get this sorted, MIL is going to hate me again. Mrs Mac is going to get shouted at for volunteering me again:mad:
Everytime I do something to their computer and something changes slightly, it is always my fault:o
It might have been MIL's best xmas present ever, it has been a nightmare for me:eek:

Are you getting the error 775 when dialing up from your house or the mil's house?
The ISP may be blocking the connection when dialled from your house because of caller ID (therefore try prefixing the number with 141), or because they allow access only at specific times.0
