Any tips for charity booklet?

Hello all, I hope this is in the right place! My Church is having a fair in 2 weeks to raise money for a children's home in Uganda and they would like to put together a booklet of moneysaving hints and tips for cleaning, cooking, living etc.

I have been around here for a little while and am quite good with vinegar/stardrops etc but I wondered if any of you mi!ht post some tips you have found work that I could use in this booklet? I'm sure there are many uses for the stardrops/vinegar that I haven't discovered yet.

The other lady doing it with me has her own favourite which made me laugh, when her perfume is almost empty she puts the bottle in her bag and sprays it when she uses a public loo "so all she leaves behind is a sweet smell!!"

They can be serious or funny, but the more the merrier.

Many thanks in anticipation.
