The bill shows 423 daytime units, 167 night units and 1526 heat units. The day & night units combined are around average, around 10 per day. What tariff does the bill say she is on (looks like E10 / heatwise where the heating circuits are on 3 times, afternoon, evening and overnight) and how many readings are there on the meter ? Was a new meter fitted in September ? Who is the supplier ?
Edit NPower Super Tariff ?
Read this https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2898808 should explain a lot.0 -

The problem with the super tariff is that the comparison sites do not show it and there are only a few suppliers that will do it. It is dearer than economy 7 but has the advantage that the heating and hot water are given a boost during the day and evening at a discount rate. It may well be cheaper to boost the storage heaters a bit rather than use the coal fire too often. It has cost her £89.56 for heat and hot water for that period.0
