turn the green dot red

When I am online and signed into the forums there is a green dot showing I am online.

Is there a way to hide the fact that I am online such as having the green dot red?

    If you are posting it is pretty clear that you are online!

    why is this even an issue? when you're logged in it's green and people know you're online, when you're not logged in it's red.

    what reason do you have for wanting to appear offline when you're online?

    are you being mobbed by fans and wish to remain inconspicuous or are you just a fan of a bit of cloak and dagger?

    im not sure invisible mode is even still an option on vb3/4, havent noticed it for quite some time, either way, its not available on this particular board in the cp options menu

    It is if the option for a user/group is enabled via the AdminCP.

    Clearly, it's not enabled here on MSE.

    Used to be an option on ere but no longer. You can still browse the forums when logged out

    i just can't understand why it would be necessary to browse the forums while appearing offline. seems completely pointless.
