help needed with my freeview

I have had a freeview box that was working great last night when I switched everything off .This morning I get up and it wasn't working and hasn't been working all day .I am totally lost as to what can be wrong .The bar is across the bottom saying the channels so its not a fuse blown or anything but its saying no signal .I can get the menu up but its showing no programmes .I have checked all the leads and they are still in correctly so does anyone have any idea why I suddenly would have no signal ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't got a clue and don't know anyone else where I live that could help me .

I googled . freeview no signal .. and found a site that says where work is being carried out that may affect your signal but it does not list my area , Liverpool.

can you get terrestial analogue channels, i.e. 1-5. If you can would rule out aerial problems
