I bought some Daz washpowder yesterday. It was reduced from £12.00 to £8.20 so I'm putting the £3.80 saving in the sealed pot! (not bad 80 washes for just over £8)

Good stuff :) It's a personal bugbear of mine when people justify additional spending because they've 'saved' so much money on x, but you know fine well they've not banked the difference!

Oh and as a side note I also just won a star prize off the MSE comps board for:

Netbook, Xbox 360, kinect, game, waterproof video camera and a casio underwater watch as an incidental (know this isnt the place to post this but im so happy I just dont care!!!:j) wonder if I could convince hubby that the cost off all that should go in the pot as we dont have to spend the money at christmas. Think he might point out thats what the pot money is for somehow :rotfl:

Just been to the bank with the Summer 2011 fund pot, which was full to yhe brim with £506 in £2 coins & £96 in 50p's making a grand total of £602 for our spends in 6 weeks time. We also found 5p in b*dy shop (jakes-mum you're not the only one who can spot them :p)

The £2 & 50p pot re-starts for our winter trip to Poland spends now :D

I'm just going to update my signature now with the total banked :)

£6.20 of loose change emptied out of my purse today.

Could you please amend my target to £300 (member 784). I was going to put more, but I mean to start the vsp challenge soon. Plus, I've got my own plan.

It's a good job i put the difference in my sealed pot then! ;) - I actually stuck a fiver in there because at the moment corner yoghurts are reduced from over 60p each to 25p each and i bought some of those too. :p

Drum rolls and lots of glass clinking for Sparky :beer::T:T:Tthats brilliant and an inspiration for me to start my savings pot for spends. New York mid sept and Florida at the end for 2 weeks. I am allowed as haven't been away for 2 years as she sheds a tear.;)

Need to start soon. No O/T coming in so will have to look elsewhere. Up the cashback and maybe beg steal and borrow the umpiring matches. Will look at starting that next week and use £2 coins a la Sparky:D
