Anyway, a lovely £1.24 for me today . I saw the charity shop on the way back for lunch today, and the pull was too strong :rotfl::D:rotfl:. Got some lovely 'work' trousers though, so it's okay :whistle:. I even got a new book to read to the biggest, hurray :dance:. Don't worry the book's getting sold on once she's finished with it :shhh:....

Good afternnoon my fellow potters. Nothing for Rosie yet, but I am sure there will be later. Thanks Sparky for the update on Sue UU. I am sure everyone will be glad to hear that she is ok. Well done you for keeping us up to speed and don't know how you manage to get so much roadkill...me thinks your a magnet in disguise.:D

Have 40p for my pot so far today. Will rake OHs pockets when he comes in from work too see what the story is with that! Im very excited about counting my pig tonight. Have a feeling that there is at least £50 in there. Will put that as my starter for my £11k challenge. Thats a perfect number for me given that I need 1k a month for the wedding and the cc.

Hello there GOTL its a great thread and has really helped to get me sorted on saving and its great to read what everyone else is up to and all give great support.

Been to town for a bit of fresh air, free cuppa while we were there to courtesy of my cafe nero card found in the bottom of my bag. Also found a bit of change so in my pot it went:D

Found a £1 coin under the bed yesterday so its gone in the pot also added some other coins at the same time.

Hiya Sparks,

Everything here is good, snow is getting very thin on the ground as it has been positively tropical ( the temperature has at least been in the plus range as opposed to the minus :rotfl: ).

Lots of clunks in the pot today : found 10 cents roadkill in the thawing snow so it has gone into the pot to cuddle up the the 25 cents found in the snow a couple of days ago, as well as $4.15 from when my receipts didn't add up last week and which has been on the side 'just in case', plus $2.85 from this weeks shopping.

I will be going out later today to cash in some recyclebles. :T
