Have you tried the high street jewelers first, there was a programme on the other night about the internet gold buying companies, before they sent the gold off they had it independantly valued, when the internet people sent cheques back they were sending about a 5th of what the gold was worth and only bumping the price up when people rang up to complain

Hope this helps you get extra cash hun ;)

  • hi,

please can i join you? i hope to save £200 by november/december. so far i have £3 saved this year.

this could prove a challenge as OH was made redundant in december whilst off sick due to an RTA that happened at work. we are living on peanuts as waiting to hear from the benefits aganecy as to what we can get - but when you aply a week b4 xmas, you cant really expect them to get anything sorted quickly.

  • Survey all done, ruby_eskimo. Although I probably don't hold the common view as my mum has been schizophrenic for 15 years (medicated for the last 5 -you'd never know these days!).

Another token £1 in my pot this morning donated from OH, nothing spent as working last night. I do have to go to the post office and post off something I sold on Amazon yesterday, so I should get some change later! I've also put that blasted £5 in that's been sitting in my wallet since 23rd December! I was sick of looking at it!

Just got £73.99 from cashinmyphone with £2.50 via Quidco.

Don't sell them all in one go, just sell them 1 at a time to get the cashback each time
