    If you are the registered owner of the vehicle & were not the driver you could ask the Information Commissioner, www.ico.gov.uk to carry out what is known as an assessment on the company basically they have a really good look at their practices re DPA.

    Alternatively you could use Section 10 of the Act processing your information is causing you damage or distress, and you can claim compensation

    I used it a few years ago against a mobile phone company who put an adverse entry against the wifes credit file, wrong person & they wouldn't respond to my letters. Wife enjoyed spending their money
