Hi, well on complete panic mode, have cancelled my card, will inform the police if money is gone and no goods received, have emailed them to say that there are questions marks about the company, and that I will inform the police as they have my details if not kosher, guess what they haven't replied.
Worryingly the site ask you you put in your security number twice on the form, once in payment details, later at the bottom for postage confirmation details, guess who stupidly put them in. Thats why I've cancelled my card.
Quite upset really, not least by my banks rubbish reponse to my concerns, will keep you posted.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

My current fraught mood is not helped by this message in their 'help and support section:
'sales: Due to to the overwhelming demand UKGamingExperts is experiencing at the moment Telephone assistance is currently restricted to after sales customers only, for a short period'.
Its a waiting game I suppose, need to know if my bank account has been used though, thats my main concern.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Aww sweetie, don't apologise, you never know it all may be legit, it's just I got panicked and cancelled my card. Had to tell hubby so he's said not to buy anything more from 'tinternet, eek.
Lets just wait and see, it'd be interesting to hear from anyone else to hear if they have received goods from this company, that'd help put our minds at rest.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I highly doubt its legit. *All* their prices are well below anything. You could possibly argue the case if it was just one or two offers but everything? No.
More importantly, however, the "secure site" certification pages are hosted on their own servers and no record of them exist on VeriSign or Thawte.Who's Steve?0 -
Had a look at their TERMS AND CONDITIONs
States this below, yet to see if this is the case.
"The buyer may effect payment by Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Switch, Solo, MasterCard and AMEX (American Express). The Buyer shall remain liable for payment until we are in receipt of cleared funds from any paying agent.
e. Full payment is due prior to delivery of the goods. Time of payment is of the essence of the contract.
f. Orders made by the buyer will not be dispatched unless payment is fully received and cleared. The buyer will only be charged when the ordered product is successfully dispatched.
g. We remain the owner of the goods supplied until we have been paid in full in cash or cleared funds for those goods and all other goods agreed to be sold by us to the buyer under any other contract between us and the buyer."
I would really like to query if anyone has received anything from this company but I'm not sure where to post, any suggestions?DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I doubt the T&Cs means anything.
I searched for the T&Cs to see if they were just copied from somewhere else and it seems as though the website is a bad copy of https://www.cocc.co.uk (who are a legitimate company, by the way.)Who's Steve?0 -
