Seller taking the proverbial

I won an auction (and paid) in the middle/end of September, but after 2 weeks nothing had arrived. Emailed the seller who said they didnt have the item, and were struggling to get any from their suppliers. I gave them a further week, nothing arrived so I contacted them for a refund. They never responded. So I started a PayPal claim, the seller never responded to any of the PayPal emails, PayPal ruled in my favour, and I got my money back.
Today the seller has started a dispute saying I have not yet paid for the item.
Dont know what they think they are playing at, but I have responded with the above so hopefully eBay will read it and again rule in my favour.
Have I missed anything I should have done? Or am I covered? One thing I have yet to do is leave feedback which I will be doing after the dispute is sorted.

Just tell paypal exactly what has happened and forward to them the proof of you having paid, the seller not responding to disputes etc. You can only say what happened cant you and that the seller must be trying to pull a fast one.
Is the seller a power seller or whats their feedback like?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
You have the Pay Pal transaction number which proves you had paid. I believe that is all Ebay will require to end this dispute. Good luck.:wall:0

Yes, seller is a Power Seller with 99.6% feedback - gets about 30 negatives a month out of 7000+ transactions.
Will be interesting to see what seller does now.0 -
To be honest I dont see why people (even powersellers) list for items they havent got!Weight Loss - 102lb0

The seller has probably started the dispute as this is the only way to recoup their eBay fees. There should be an aoption in the dispute to say that item has been returned - or something like that - which will end the process painlessly for both seller and buyer.
Hope this helps.
