Cancun at Spring Break?

Hi has anyone done it at spring break?

I am looking to go over at that time for week, around 15 march from Birmingham.

Found some really good deals but on sites such as lowdepositholidays and travelwasp from checking on moneysupermarket, but not sure if there trustworthy sites, although there all ATA.

Any where else i can go and get a good deal?

Cheers

I went to cancun in about 2005 during spring break, the weather was cracking really enjoyed the place, but the whole resort was full of very drunk loud American and Canadian teenagers.you don't need to be 21 in Mexico to drink hence why they all go there for spring break, not a problem if you can cope with lots of obnoxious over powering kids with voices that seem to travel,I personally did not really have a major issue with it until towards end of 2 week holiday by then it started to become a bit wearing.
I remember 1 particular lad who had to keep telling everyone he was from Michigan at about 150dcb,a few of the other English holidaymakers ended up telling him to sling his hook back to Michigan.

Having been there a few years back during spring break and absolutely loved it I'd just say that only go if you are aged between about 18 and 29 and like having a party at night and not much sleep during the day.
As pointed out its the main american holiday aimed at teenage college students who oftan have lots of money and little experience of drinking to excess.
  • We were there two years ago during Spring Break and absolutely loved it. What I would say is that some hotels are more spring break tastic than others. Ours was generally full of families and friends compared to others further down the beach which were packed with college students.

The all inclusive deals in Cancun are brilliant with many hotels having several restaurants included.

    Have a great time.
