I don't follow the actual diet (altho, lord knows I should!!) but I get some great recipes from the mags.

BearsBlueGirl wrote: »Hi peeps,
for reasons I don't really want to go into (far too much drama!), I needed to let you all know I'm leaving mse and the comp boards.
I've made some really great friends on here :A and will miss you so much.
On a practical side tho, I need to find someone(s) to take over my mags. Princess PixieDust has offered to take over Best and Woman's Own...altho I wish she'd wouldn't as she does too much already....so I just need someone to do:
Love It! wordsearch...comes out on a Thursday (my mate Korky does the other offers in the mag so it's just the wordsearch needs doing).
Weight Watchers comes out once a month but I just posted it a few days ago so that won't need doing till next month.
Spirit & Destiny magazine is a monthly too and I think that's due out next week.
I'll post my mags this week then I'll be off.
There are some amazing people on this forum and so many of them get taken for granted that it's really sad. I just wish everyone knew of the selfless work and dedication of so many reg. posters. :T:T
So, any takers for my mags??
Cheers,
Blue xx
How many more 'regular' posters will be feeling the same?
Like you Blue, I'll not bother to go into my reasons for not posting so many comps nowadays...
Take care darlin', and many thanks for your contribution to MSE.

Please don't say that babe.
What on earth is going on, I've seen the odd bit of unpleasantness, and I'm sure there's a lot more that passes me by but it's so wrong that they have to win!
I wish Blue would reconsider, we'll miss you Blue.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

agree with you jay, last night i felt the same as you know, the lack of respect just lately for reg mag posters on the main board is
very upsetting & if we stick up for ourselves/each other as we do them in & out every week month etc we get called 'troublemakers' or we're 'picking' on the newbies/someone who has posted
we're always being told 'be nice to newbies' but what about respect & nice to older members
wouldn't be so bad but some of the ops that thanked are the first to complain if someone posts one of 'thier' comps & some of them were the first to complain if the t&c's/details weren't typed out,
they thanked never giving thought to the regular comp poster who does them tirelessly month in & month out,
i too felt very demoralized last night (as you know) & was very close to posting this morning that if peeps want anyone to post the mags without details/t&c's etc then fair enough i'd leave posting them for others,
but had lots of pm's from other peeps later & this morning saying they agreed with what i said on the thread & lots of support, for kirsty, reg ops,
so decided we have 2 choices, we let 'them' win or carry on,
blue, as i said to you in my pm, please don't let them get you down, you're worth more than that & are an angel on here
xxxplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Missed all that:(
As thread has been locked I'll not comment but it made me rather sad:o"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

Maybe the policy on respecting 'regular' magazine comp posters needs to be clearer and firmer, then no one can say they didn't realise. I'd go so far as saying that posts like the one that caused all the hoohah should be removed. Mistakes happen, but it's plain disrespectful not to apologise when you realise what you've done, especially when you're told you haven't even posted it properly. The magazine comps should not be a free for all.
A simple ''x normally posts this, and according to MSE customs, magazine comps are only posted by agreed regular posters'' would suffice, (together with the removal of the post). As long as this is made clear in the comping guide, I don't see any problem with this. There are plenty of 'please read the comping guide before posting' notices around.
R.e. respecting posters needs, I totally agree, MSE needs to consider the needs and feelings of its long term posters. They're just as important as the 'newbies'.
ETA: I have nothing against newbies, we're all equally important. I also know I should have posted this in the comps discussion thread, but I'm sad about losing Blue and possibly other people, and they might not see it in there. I'll :silenced: now.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

Hey you dossy moo, we love you...
Don't you dare feel demoralized or I'll Bash you one...NOT...!!!
If folk feel that they need to reregister with another AE to pop at folks, well I'm afraid they really DO need to get a life!
I've seen so many of my lovely friends 'popped at' and have tried to defend them when I've seen offensive posts.
That does include BG's who do such a fabulous job on MSE... :T
Trolls will always be p*xy trolls, and it's best to ignore the b**tards.
I love you korkykins... :kisses3:

agree completely with you jay, it would save lots of misunderstandings/upsets,
it was bought up in comps disc before christmas about trying to sort something out regarding a reg thread or something for the reg mags as in the puzzler thread/tab monthlys/postals but nothing else has been said since so maybe it's about time that it could be sorted out
thank you xx :AMARTINS_DOLL wrote: »Hey you dossy moo, we love you...
