Hi all,
It's been a while.
I've just carried out a price comparison on my Gas and Electric and I have no idea if I am paying too much for Gas and Electric.
I pay £35.50 per month for Gas and £35.50 for Electric.
I live on my won in a one bedroom flat in a Victorian conversion.
I'ts only me in the flat but I think my bill is pricey ore am I just stuck in the dark ages?
Now want to move to something cheaper but am I being a scrooge with my price? Am I on a good tariff?
I'm soooo confused someone please help
Thanks
Willbaforce

How many kwh are you using on each of the fuels? Monthly direct debit values are notoriously incorrect.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Hi Willbaforce - To get the best from the Switch sites you have to enter your Yearly consumption of gas & Elec in Kwh ( Kilowatt hours)
Phone your supplier who will tell you these, then hit the switch sites0 -
I was about the same for a 2 bed flat with Eon, although, I ended up owing them alot of money - as it wasnt enough, I had 7 heaters...give it a few months and then call them with updated readings to find out if you owe them or they owe you and then you will no for sure

Hi Willbaforce
Already some excellent advice on here.
Just to confirm, make sure your account is billed up to date using actual meter readings. Once this has been done, see what your annual usage in kWh is and pop these figures on to one of the comparison sites.
This will list out all the options, both with us and the other suppliers. Make sure you are on a tariff best suited to your circumstances.
There are extra discounts available for managing your account online and paying with a Direct Debit.
Hope this helps Willbaforce. Give me a shout if you need any more info as will be happy to help. Drop an email to the address in my Profile if you prefer.
