I have just been sent a bill from BT saying i have come to the end of my BT Business One Plan contract . We are supposed to have committed to an annual spend of £650 which we did not meet so we have to pay a reconciliation payment of £200.
We must of been put on this plan when we rang up and asked to be put on a better package, but at no point would we have been told about this minimum spend as our bills are a constant amount ,i also assume this minimum spend must be for calls only as we pay well over this amount with broadband and line charges etc.
I cant believe this plan was recommended to us if we could never meet there minimum spend.
Basically who can i trust for a business line as i don't trust BT anymore?
What can i do about this charge?
Any ideas anyone?

Nothing, if that is the contractual minimum spend. It seems you took out the package without researching the T&C's.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Hi there
I came on to website looking for the same reason. I am opening a shop and there is just so much choice, I also am not keen on BT. To be fair it is very difficult to go through all the T&C and quite often they are not transparent so I totally know how you feel.
I have been told to go with someone independent but not sure if there is such a thing but I have a few posts in various website so if I find anything out I will message you. (if that is okay)
