Gloss paint not drying - advice please

BiL came to advise me on the doors only to tell me that what I had assumed was a paint problem was actually badly hung doors!!!

The builders had hung them too close (1/16th apparently) to the door stop part of the frame so the "sticking" was because closing the dors was effectively levering them too close together so that when I opened them they sounded like the paint was sticking them together...(if you see what I mean?)
Anyway - builders are coming back to re-hang them properly.

All my prep was worth it afer all - just another week's delay caused by the "wonderful" builders!!

Last year we converted our South West facing sun lounge (built before conservatories were fashionable) by putting on a proper roof and building small walls to install french doors. For some reason when the previous owners had CH installed they didn't put any radiators in the dinning room/sun lounge. As the boiler is 25 years + we've been told it won't take anymore radaitors so we've left it. Have to say that the room isn't at all cold. Last winter when it became really cold we only needed to put the gas fire on to be comfortable, even first thing in the morning. Contrast with my kitchen which has a double radiator blasting out heat and it's always freezing in there!!

We do have solid oak flooring in dining room though which I think helps. When we converted the sun lounge we trawled reclamation yards for reclaimed oak flooring to match the dining room. Being in wet, windy Wales and close to the coast we went for PVC doors and windows to eliminate maintenance!
