    I agree that this LA sounds unnecessarily rude and difficult in his phraseology, and some LLs will overlook an occasional late rent payment, but generally speaking , under the terms of a Tenancy Agreement, a T's Rent Due date is not a "movable feast" - the Ts payment should be there *by* the rent due date.
  • Closing one bank account and opening another can be tricky as we have seen but as soon as I knew that the S/O hadn't been processed I'd have been down to the LA's office with the cash in my hand. Over two weeks late with the rent is quite a long time, new bank account or not. I hope the OP has paid by now.
