Help needed re: reposession house

Hi there

We bought a house that was a repossesion. We have lived here about three months trouble free.

I have just seen in todays paper, in the bankruptcy section, the previous owner of the house. It is a notice of his filing for bankruptcy. Trouble is, he is noted as living at OUR address.

I don't want our credit rating affected by this. Does anyone know what we should do, if anything???

    Theoretically, you cannot be linked to someone with whom you have no financial relationship.

    The days of addresses being logged as "dodgy" have gone.

    I have the same worries, having visits from debt collectors chasing the previous owners of our house.
