Primus Saver - Warning

A WARNING to anyone thinking of switching to Primus Saver for their cheap £8.99 line rental.
BEFORE YOU SWITCH make sure you ask your current provider to cancel ALL features such as CallerID and CallDivert as these are automatically moved across when you switch and Primus charge £2.50 for each of these features.
I switched in July 2010 and have had to call their foreign call centre EVERY month to try and get these unwanted features removed and my Direct Debit amended. It is now December and fingers crossed they have finally sorted things out and maybe next month I might only get billed the £8.99!
They may be cheapest but this is reflected in their customer service and use of foreign call centres.

Indeed, I have a 12 month contract with Primus. It seems that this fixed length contract only applies to line rental, they can increase the charges for any additional services that you may have taken out with your original order. Their CallerID service increased from £0.56 to £2.13 (ex VAT) or to £2.50 (inc VAT) in August - an increase of 280%. Oh, wouldn't it be a wonderful world if I could increase my income by 280% !!!0
