Home network problem

Ok I’ll try to get this all in one.

I have
1. Desktop running XP in upstairs room – wired connection to router – Broadband and router supplied by Sky. Security on this machine is Microsoft security essentials (recently changed from AVG free). HP printer (wired connection) to this PC
2. Laptop running XP in downstairs room – wireless connection to router as above. Security is Kaspersky (free from Barclays).
3. Dell mini netbook running windows 7 (starter) – wireless connection to router. Kaspersky on this machine too

At one point (some months ago), I had all these devices running as a home network. Could access shared files on each machine and print from any on the HP printer.

At some stage (and I think it may have been when I first put Kaspersky on the laptop and netbook) this stopped working.

All three machines can still access internet no problems (as can my Nintendo Wii and ipod touch), but none of them can see each other. They all have the same usergroup (MSHOME) and I’ve run the network setup wizard that many times it’s unreal.

I’m not very techie and as hinted at above I’m sure it’s Kaspersky that has caused this but I haven’t got a clue how undo it. My suspicion is that it’s something to do with the firewall(s) but I’m really fishing around for some suggestions from you techie people if you can help.

Thanks

Here's the fisrt hit in a google search for kaspersky file sharing

    http://vectrosecurity.com/content/view/65/26/

which gives details on how to configure Kaspersky to enable MS file sharing.

Thanks... that link certainly pointed me in the right direction. Unfortunatley the instructions there related to Kaspersky 7 whilst I have 2010. A subsequent (more targeted google) got me to the right settings adjustments and .........

    IT WORKED
No more running up and down stairs with flash drives for me :D
