How many tree lights?

How many tree lights do you have on your tree. I think we usually have 200ish, but they are needing replaced and I don't know whether to go for 240 or 400. Am I right in thinking 400 is too many?

Thanks :)

we have 400 on a tree 7ft . i personally think we could easily get away with another 200 as it not only tall but quite wide. however it does look pretty as it is.

I had just decided on two sets of 120 LED multicoloured (cheaper at £25 than one set of 240 for £40!) when I read your message. Now I'm swithering over the 400 for £27!

    Thank you :)

I've got 240 LED coloured lights on our 6 ft tree BUT it's not terribly wide so they are just the right amount.

Go for the 400, you know you want to ;) Personally I love Xmas lights so for me too many is not overkill!

I have no idea. I know I use three or four strings. Some coloured and some plain.

I tried just plain white lights one year to have a bit of class, and it looked very sophisticated and all, but just wasn't Christmassy enough. I need coloured lights, and lots of them.
