massive praise to the army of volunter snow wardens in Rotherham. they kept the traffic moving in the worst of the weather .:beer:

They clear streets near where they live apparently. Hats off to them0 -

they have been out on the main roads in groups of about 6 at trouble spots ie traffic lights /inclines etc and have been pushing stranded cars ,digging them out and directing traffic away from problem areas .generally helping motorists.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. There is something very British about things like this, it is quite heart warming. We have a family friend who is very poorly, and the way people have rallied around him and his wife is beyond words (and now I'm crying again!).Gone ... or have I?0
