British Gas home Top up

As the title suggests, I have recently sent off for BG home top up as crediting my gas meter is hard when I am ill and with a debit card I can do it at home and not have to worry.

How long does the pack take to come through? and can I use it with Windows 7... The cold weather payments I am going to get will go towards heating the house

Mine took about 3 weeks to come through, it works fine with windows 7 and Vista (laptop) but you do have to use it with internet explorer, i use chrome and firefox but have to switch back to explorer to top up.

I ordered mine on line in September,big mistake,after waiting over a month I rang them up and they told me there was a problem with the on line ordering process! I had to re-order over the phone on 17th November,14 - 28 days I was told the wait would be. I am still waiting. Could have done with it this week as I couldn't get out in the snow.

I ordered one several times over the phone but it never arrived. I've now changed the meter for an ordinary meter so I hope it doesn't arrive now.
