Have you had trouble getting refunds from David Wilson?

Hi, not sure if anyone else would have had a similar problem to this, we made an offer on a new build David Wilson home, but our sale has fallen though. When we paid the reservation fee (£500) the sales woman said that if we had to pull out we'd get a proportion (she said at least £250) back. Now, they don't seem to be answering their phones or phoning us back (2 weeks of leaving messages). Has anyone else had that problem - is it time to contact head office?

Yes contact head office - don't hesitate. Threaten the involvement of the ombudsman if you don't receive your money within the next 2 weeks.
