Looking forward to the new look I'm currently in the final year of a Bsc in Internet Technologies, so I like looking at new designs and looking at how they are put togeather etc.

Mmm its quite amazing , its my birthday today and i remember my sinclair computer,my first amstrad (1987-88) and now the internet, the commerce,broadband all in a relatively short space of time, i think its only just begun.How is your course, is there anything particular you have an interest in?I am quite new to this site,its quite a phenomena isnt it.

I would lose the Alexa stats, they do not mean much anyway... it relies on the Alexa toolbar being installed on a machine and this passes back reports and rankings for websites that have been visited by users with the toolbar. US sites are more likely to have higher ratings as I believe uptake of Alexa is more common in the US.

"Tools" needs aligning to the top so it matches the other content units in that area, OR, a big button there for the forum. The forum link is rather small and a large button link would definately be spotted there.

Have you considered creating a "viral" to accompany the launch of the new look site? maybe a MSE game, these things reach everyones mailbox in a matter of hours and would bring in many new users... easy to start a viral with the number of willing volunteers in the forum.
