Redundancy Notice Consultation Assessment

I was given redundancy notice yesterday - I was advised that my position of Senior Technician has been identified as potentially redundant. It is proposed to reduce the current number of Senior Tecnhnicians from 4 to 2. I had my first consultation today. On Friday the selection panel will meet to carry out an assessment on me and my 3 colleagues. On Monday at my 2nd consultation I will be informed of the result of that assessment. The criteria for assessment are efficiency, performance, capability (including skills & experience), qualifications, attendance and disciplinary record. The assessment is to be carried out by my line manager (an associate), and a senior associate director with input from the cost centre manager. The criteria are to assessed only for the past year.

It is my understanding that in order to accurately assess my efficiency, performance and capacity, management will need input from my immediate project manager to whom I have been reporting. Over the past year I have had 2 main project managers. The first is no longer available for consultation as he was recently made redundant. The second is one of the Senior Technicians who has been put on notice. Surely any assessment by him of me is potentially biased and prejudiced and could not legally be considered of any validity in determining my assessment? I am not convinced that this process is completely fair.
