Praise - John Lewis online sales and delivery

Credit where credit is due.
Ordered a number of items from John Lewis on Sunday (28th) afternoon as christmas gifts. Selected the free shipping option of 'standard' which indicated 5 working days.
Received a dispatch note on Tuesday morning (30th), and actually received the goods on the evening of the same day (still the 30th), from the courier HDNL. Arrived around 6.30pm meaning I was home from work and no trip to a courier depot needed. Everything safely packed and as described on their website.
Short version - Sunday afternoon order, Tuesday evening delivery; no shipping costs.
Thought it was worth posting my experience if anyone is considering John Lewis online for christmas gifts.
