Time to switch? Help!
Hello,
After hearing and registering for this forum, I wanted to ask for some help from the forum readers.
I am current on a capped for free deal with scottish power until March 2011 and the details I have are as follows.
£32 dual fuel payment per month and I am currently £74 in credit.
Electricity
Consumption Charge @ 11.293p
Standing Charge @ 8.660p
Gas
Consumption Charge @ 2.966p
Standing Charge @ 6.080p
Should I switch just now, or am I better to stay with my capped rate and then look when its finished? New to this, appreciate the help folks.
Thanks

Well come to the forum Irvosa. Input your annual kWh consumption figures (not your monthly DD figures) into a comp site, no one can tell you what is the best tariff for you as they don't know your consumption, and prices vary from region to region.
If you are on a capped deal until 3/11 then you will probably have to pay an ETC to break your contract though. No free lunch, and no free laptop
