PKC Im starting to even doubt your sister got SKY+, cause if she did then you would definately be asking for help from experienced compers on how to fight to claim the prize, rather than rant the way you have.

However some one saying they were told they arnt getting a prize as they had been told it was 1 per person rather than no limit on the extra prize pool like the actual terms state would put me off....

We asked for help if you read back.. and was told "Promoters are wrong, see T&C".. that doesn't help does it..

Experience Compers.. really.. would they say "email them and tell them that you are entitled to this prize because of (reason 1 or 2)... in T&C" not oh they didn't tell you that!

Furthermore, if I was her to stop people entering why would I be helping a user who got ripped of his prize from Zavvi.. that would serve me no purpose.

Seen as though thats a closed competition helping them out would not effect your chances of winning a competiton so that is irrelevant in this

This isn;t the first time people have been denied their Lawful prize. New Scientist screwed up (5 prizes, 100 winners)... Zavvi emailed somebody to say they had won star prize then said "sorry we've made a mistake".

Is it not possible that they have screwed up, issued more prizes of said prize that they have.. and are using T&C as a get out.

Well PKC if you sister had the same attitude on the phone to Barclays as you seem to have had on this thread, with your rude comments, than I am not in the slightest bit suprised that she did not get her "prize".

I don;t see this issue. they are right to do what they did surely!

If they as you say are at right to do it then and you are happy about that then why on earth are you babbling on about this comp at 3.30am if your no longer interested in it because of your sisters problems as you have previously mentioned!

Because its a question (again), and I never said I was happy with it.. Getting told 1 thing by promotors (who by law run the comp), yet getting told another by MSErs (who seem to know more about the law on this comp than the promoters)..

Because I asked a question for her, and so far haven't had the answer, other than see the T&C.. and she was told wrong by promoters... that doesn't help does it!!

Well what more do you want people to say lol! "look here take my sky" You cant expect people on here to say much more than the promoters are wrong and look at the T&c because the people who have said that are right!

You have said that yourself dont see the issue in that what they say goes - so what do you honestly expect people to offer you if you wont take their advice any way? If your not happy with it and wont take mse advice go to the asa or what ever they are called these days and see what they say!
