Hard to know.. either way they are being sent out by Barclays, so its them that should be sorting out... I am sure they can do easily, as each card has its own number, and its POS unit that scans and see the amount..

Time will tell I guess.

Hope u get it sorted soon, just spent £70.00 of my vouchers, they were all the old ones.

Is there not a phone number for Sports Direct that we could ring and give them the barcodes of the giftcards to check the balance to save the embarrassment of going into the shop and finding out if their dead or not?

would make sense wouldn't it.. would say their shop workers hassle also.

For those that have duff cards - with the ones starting with 428 can you tell me what range the last 3 digits are in please ie 100's 200's 300's etc as have some 428 cards and just trying to pre-empt if they are duff or not.

dawn i think most ppl who received cards withing the past couple of days have duff cards looks like all of them will be the same i havnt checked mine yet but goin with wat everyone is sayin i think mine will be dead also my cards end in the 200s if that helps wont find out till sometime this week though

My 800s onwards didn't work. Don't know what the numbers of the ones that worked were though.
