Collected my 2 hotwheels colour change things today for £5:D

I went to the till with my reservation print out it came up £9.99 but I just said oh i was expecting £5 she called the manager over she didn't even comment just changed the price:j

Got my Hot Wheels today two for £5! :)they tried to chrage me £15 for the two:eek:, I said
" Thats not what it says here" & showed the printout.
The manager was called over looked at the print out & said " fine, it has to be honoured" to the Sales assistant.
I would advise everyone who ordered on this glitch to take a print out with them because the sales assistant said to me it maybe would not of been honoured it i hadn't have brought it! she then said she might try ordering a couple herself when she got home!:rotfl:

Ps. It looks like the glitch has now been sorted as they are now showing out of stock for any store instore collection or delivery!!!

Well done!!! I had my printout with me and it was a no go with the manager I dealt with....but of course he phoned the head office and told him he couldn't honour it. I tried to re-reserve them to try at another store but 'apparently' they are now completely out of stock....
Ah well --- onwards etc etc

thanks Claire - worked a treat at the Prescot branch - the price did come up at 9.98 but the manager changed to the price to £5.

It went through the till at £9.98,but as I had taken a photo of my reservation on my mobile,the manager honoured it for me.

Would anyone like my reservation for the 2 hotwheels going through at £5 for pick up before 8pm tonight at the Southampton Road, Salisbury store? I'm too snowed in I'm afraid but I can email the reservation to anyone that can pick up at such short notice???

Well I took my print out of my 4 hot wheels for £10 tonight and they refused to honor it .... not happy.... the guy called head office and said they would not accept it.. I made my point about shouldnt argos make sure they get there internet prices correct, and should honour as one of my friends had through another branch (i.e friends being all you MSErs) etc etc...but NO he wasnt having it and said must have been an inexperiences SA at the other branch.... Oh well, great to those that got.. I will not be defeated argos... rest, until another glitch!!! (I will go to a different Argos next time)

Same - they phoned head office and did not honour. Annoyed as it was cold outside and I made a special visit!

I even tried the "what am I going to send for the xmas raffle tomorrow then" line (although was partly truth as was giving 2 of them away) But no, he wasnt moving....

I took a print out of my two reservations (chou chou and hot wheels x2) and they honoured it. The manageress came over to authorize it and said if it wasn't for the print out they wouldn't have done it.

She also added if i ever see anything for a "silly price or too good to be true price" to print it off and they'll adjust the cost at the till! That was at kingswood hull, where as at anlaby hull i've had problems in the past and they weren't even glitches!

In fact someone next to me had bought a beanstalk thing too that came up at £27.99 on till but was reserved at £19.99 and they adjusted with printout.

I asked if the prices instore update with the ones online and the mangeress said they ought to but don't always and sometimes things are online that you would never find instore (glitch??) so to always bring printout.

I used to work for them but that was prior the internet shopping boom but generally speaking i normally have an awful experience with them!
