I just ordered the spin blasters and some of the other half price stuff from the other thread fro home delivery.
Spin blaster came up as 2 for £5 and went through checkout like that, so might be easier if like me you dont fancy going out in this weather

Yah!! I went straight down to Argos with 2 tired, screaming toddlers for back up! went to till and showed the confirmation, £9.98 please, I said oh no the reservation is showing £5. Off she went and got a manager to over ride, nothing else was mentioned. I then paid with my £5 free from last weeks over £50 spend, so in effect I got £20 worth of toys for free!! I feel much better now after nasty skateboard manager (luckily it wasn't him today).:rotfl:

I think the trick is to get there asap after reserving before they cotton on and have hoards of people in there doing the same!

thanks i got 2 of the spin balsters for £5 i acted clueless when it was showing up as £9.98 on the tiill & she went & checked the computer & came back & gave me them both for a fiver

I was just in Argos to pick up the Hot Wheels colour shifter thingy's, had my reservation in hand, went to till rather than self-checkout and the guy had to call the manager over, who then called head office who said they knew nothing of this 'glitch' and told the manager NOT to honour it because it seemed that there were too many glitches happening with reservations. Ah well, I got the skateboards a few weeks ago, so wasn't going to make a big deal about it. All wasn't lost though because I had also reserved the Vtech computer that was £74.99 down to £18.74!!!!
Well done to those who do get the glitch and good luck to those still to try!!!

Thanks Clair. My son has two partys to go to in the lead up to Xmas so any money saving is appreciated & these will be great as part of the present. I have reserved the two Hot Wheels for £5 & printed out the page so i will go brandishing it tomorrow in my local Argos ready incase of a confrontation, just hope i get the nice lady i know who works on customer services!;).

My local store was closed today because of the snow!! And I suspect it will be tomorrow aswell, any ideas on wether or not I will be able to collect on Friday? (chou chou + hot wheels glitch)
