I'd love to join this challenge...it sounds brilliant!
Anyone with any good advice on online savings accounts please?? I would be very grateful...dashing off to have a quick mooch right now...

I have set up a e-saver account with the Halifax.

Good luck with your saving whatever its for. This is a great thread and everyone is very friendly and supportive no matter how much you save.

Thank you Footiemad...have just made an application with Birmingham midshires online but only because they are not connected to any of the creditors I am not in default with - I think!!!
I feel great now.....got to keep motivated though.........have set up email reminders so fingers crossed!!

Your most welcome Lornadoone. Thats the way to do it, you dont want your creditors having any more of your pennies. The advise on DF threads is always to have accounts that they cant touch. Your dealing with your debts and thats the main thing and taking steps to save is a great motivator.:T:T

I have never managed to save before and VSP has given me so much motivation along with its members.

Good luck and enjoy saving and seeing things grow ftom small eggs.

hi, hope everyone is well. Sorry I never got back with my update on Friday, the last few days have been a bit rubbish

however I'm back with a belated update. On Friday I transferred 9.14 and I have just received a payment os 21.27 from Quidco which I have also transferred to my vsp so my new total is 371.19

my vsp number is below ....
