Can i join? i'd be more interested in joining for next year really as this one is nearly over for the challenge but i'd like to join anyway! Saving for Christmas. We also do the normal sealed pot challenge but its nice to be able to know none of your money is bleeding out anywhere and even the scraps whether they're virtual or not are being farmed away :)

I need to set up a seperate bank account for this, are there easy to use online ones anyone would suggest? i have a current account with HSBC so i was thinking of getting it with them so the transfers are easier. whatdya think?

I have just opened an online saver through the post office. You can transfer money from your everyday bank account. When you want to withdraw the money they send it to your everyday bank account. I think this will work better for me as it takes 10 days for the withdrawl to reach bank account. Less likely to 'dip into' it!!!!:)

I opened up a Santander e-saver account in the end as it has a good interest rate and its easy access with no fees. I havent got the account number through yet but as soon as i have i'll be starting on my virtual pot :)
