Another £11.01 for me today please...I've had my wages sitting in my account for a couple of days as I got paid early and they're just confusing me. So the £11.01 is the leftover from last month and I'm starting this month now!

    New total is £45.05 :D

had a dozy moment yesterday. I said last week that it wouldn't be until January that I would be able to add to my virtual sealed pot as this week my bank accounts would go overdrawn. Anyway I couldn't resist adding something so I added a £1 and something from one account and £6 n something from another account except of course the balance left in my bank account was still an odd amount ? which I couldn't understand  but of course as I was overdrawn - the money I moved out was only adding to my balance overdrawn. doh !!

Looking forward to January when I can join in properly again.

Its so tempting to transfer the £40 odd pounds that is now in my virtual pot to pay towards my overdraft leaving an IOU to myself but I know I will probably never repay myself so will leave the money well alone until its a real emergency and will try hard not to spend until December next year.

I think I posted previously and said that I was thinking that if I spent say £9.56 in a shop that I would round it up to £10 and transfer the 44p into the virtual pot. Does anyone else does this ???

I think I've heard of a current account which does this automatically. I do kindofa, but not to my VSP. USually pay in cash and then put my coins in the jar, but not after ever transaction. Might start and make that my payment a day to the old credit card...

Do most peeps transfer once a week, or every day? I started once a week but oooh it's addictive :p
  • I do it once a week La E. Excpet for the times when I got a brucie bonus (like 54p interest!) I looked forward to it on a Friday and would start to get excited on the Thurs eve...

Ooooo get outta the fast lane DNM!!!!
