Just noticed in Morrisons they were advertising the new store is opening on 6th November at Cardiff Bay.. it's next to the new Toys R Us development. There was just a sign saying "special opening offers", but no more details so might be worth a look on the 6th and see if they do anything special.

  • It's right by my office BUT because they don't take vouchers unless I purchase the item I will stick with my Tescos and the crabby supervisors !

They may however have some good opening offers

  • I posted this on the discounts/vouchers board but incase anyone missed it:

On the back of the "Feel Fresh for winter" leaflet produced by Morrisons dated 23rd October to 19th November is a £2.00 money off voucher for Fusion Power or manual razor valid until 19th November.

The voucher is non-store specific so can be used as Tescos/Asdas without buying the product. If you are going to the new store may well be worth picking a few up.

  • I've just visited Morrison's Petrol Station on the new Cardiff Bay site and just like the last time I called there (about 6 weeks ago) I found the person behind the counter miserable and uncommunicative. Last time it was an elderly man...this time an elderly woman. It doesn't take much to smile, engage in a few words of banter, and be polite! TESCOs Cogan is just down the road, and that's where I'll be filling up next time. Nice place - miserable staff!
