DLA Reviews how long?

I had a form sent to me as my DLA is due up for review in Feb 2011 so sent it off and just wanted to know how long they are taking at the moment?

Also this was not the full form that i filled in when i 1st got DLA it was a white one with not much in it so just wanted to know are these forms new and why didnt i have to fill in a full one?

They can take 11-13 weeks. I've been waiting for the last 9 weeks and not heard anything yet.

God i hope there is enough time then as i sent mine back 2 weeks ago and my current claim runs out Mid Feb.

Will that be enough time?

I was expecting mine to take ages but it only took about 3 weeks. Maybe it depends on what information they need and how quick they get it.

As long as they recieve your renewal claim pack before your old claim expires they wont stop your payments. The date it is recieved by them is logged onto their system.

Mine took only a few weeks, but that was a return in August against an expiry in October. I had an answer back inside of three weeks. It was the big 48 page one though, so that form must have changed since. Don't forget to photocopy all your pages.
