I'm sorry, help regarding wireless router buying

Can someone please help me....i am a bit dumb on these things

I have 2 pcs in the house (1 downstairs, 1 up) the downstairs is connected to ntl broadband via usb cable modem. I want the internet upstairs and the people at ntl said to get a wireless router.

Do i need anything else to go with it?

hello sir, you need a wireless router as you alredy have the cabel modem. my brother uses a belkin see this page http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatSectionView.process?Section_Id=204041 its the top one. then you will need a wireless network card (F5D7000uk on that page) for tha computer upstairs. you need to open up the comp. to fit this, but easier way is to use a usb (F5D7050uk on that page) which just pushes into a usb slot on your comp. belkin & netgear is a good make and amazon do some good deals also you can order from pcworld and collect at the store for speed
