Boots - "Free" Chocolate and Fragrance with Mailing Coupons

A while ago I received a mini Christmas mailing with a 250 points coupon wyb any Eau de Toilette and another one for 250 points wyb from the Christmas 3 for 2 range, which I ignored because I was trying to avoid spending yet more money in Boots. But there are plenty of items that are "free" in Boots logic, my favourites are Thorntons Chocolate lollies - £1 each, 3 for £2 and 250 points back.

Not quite free but lovely for stockings, the Thorntons reindeer £1.50 each, 3 for £3 and 250 points back

For the EDT, I am going instore to try and hunt down the Adidas Team Force EDT - £2.19 with 250 points back

I had these as well and noticed the thorntons lolly possibilities. I looked at the T & C's closely for the catch, but there doesn't seem to be one. I might try it out tomorrow

I think you should be able to use the 2 coupons at the same time as long as you buy 2 items, or obviously 3 if you are getting an EDT that is also in the 3 for 2 mix & match, as is the Adidas one above. Quids in, well points in.

I didn't get a mailing either

Probably would have gone for the cute chocolate reindeers as the lollys are OOS now and say 'one per person' now..

But maybe its better I don't get one as have to control my spending too and have MEANT to officially have FINISHED all my Christmas shopping , we'll see!

I have had an advantage card for years and never get these mailings.

I never get any coupons either. My daughter's boyfriend does, but always chucks stuff like that in the bin. :eek:

I had these points coupons too, bought the Charlie Chic perfume for my daughter reduced from £5 something to £3.96 so with 250 points back only paid £1.46, the coupon wouldn't scan at the till so the SA went to check and apparently the coupon is supposed to be off the more expensive perfumes from the fragrance counter, but she added the points manually once I pointed out there was nothing on the coupon to say this and the perfume box clearly stated eau de toilette which is what was on the coupon (or eau de parfum) so any problems stand your ground they can do it manually.

Boots stopped sending me mailings years ago....I've moved a couple of times but they never seem to keep up, i think they stopped the first time i moved...
