Dirty public toilets

Unfortunately when you have children and are out and about you have to take them to the toilet at some point. Recently in Wolverhampton I took my 6 yr old daughter to the toilet at the Wolverhampton City Council in town and as there were only two loos my daughter had to wait until a rather nicely dressed woman came out of one and my little girl rushed in and there was pee all over the seat and I simply hit the roof and stopped the woman before she left and told her to clean it. I didn't raise my voice or anything, but I imagine the look on my face must of been enough because she went back in and did. Usually I carry those toilet seat covers in my bag for her because she's not big enough to ''ho:mad:ver'' over the toilet but seeing how nasty it was made me see red. It does indeed make you wonder why a person thinks I want to clean up after them if they would only take a few seconds to do it themselves.0

Just recently I had to ban one of my son's friends from coming round because of the disgusting state he kept leaving my loo in - he sh@t all over the back of the seat and just left it:eek::eek: He's 15 GFS!!!

Am I bad in the fact that once my son's are toilet trained I would much rather let them wee outside than in a disguisting toilet? (my eldest is potty training atm and so far I have to keep him in pull ups when we are out as the only loo near is up in the lift and a 5 minute walk). I am actually currently looking online for a portable potty to keep in the pram lol.
And before anyone starts a rant about weeing outside, I am talking in the sense of behind a bush where no one can see, not in the middle of the street all over the floor. And I am only meaning when loo's nearby as absolutely disguisting and in a state I wouldnt use.
I would def opt for bush rather than let my little lad wet himself from fear of the scary looking dirty looking toilet* Mummy to my 2 gorgeous and amazing boys *0 -
Elise I do wonder if some parents just dont bother to teach lol. My 2 year old who is being potty trained already knows to wipe after having a poo and to then go and wash and dry his hands. He is just getting over a horrible bug and has had the runs, but yet has still managed to use the potty properly and clean himself (proper independant little man he is getting).* Mummy to my 2 gorgeous and amazing boys *0

I always used to let my two dash behind a bush if they were desperate. Good thing I didn't have girls really;). Better they learn how to go, than walk through with soaked jeans.
My dad goes in the bushes at home as we have 5 acres and it's a long walk back to the house!Noli nothis permittere te terere

I dont buy loose fruit and veg due to toilets anymore, you always see people walking out without washing their hands and then handling the loose fruit and veg, i know i wash it but still makes me feel physically sick!!
My sister is working in a shop in a big shopping centre in our area and she has to use the public facilities one time she had told me that she was hungover had to be sick so ran to the hearest which happened to be a mum and toddler toilet and that there was poo all over the toilet seat and wiped all over the walls and floor (however they managed that one i dont know) needless to say she ran to the other toilets. Dirty gits!!!0 -
Before selecting a university, check the state of the toilets in the student areas. It tells you a great deal about the establishment in question."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0

This thread just show's you how, why and where this country is going.
The United Kingdom does look like one big cess pit at times, London being the biggest of the lot. Thirty year ago the UK didn't look or behave like this, and if we had the internet even then, you would never have seen a thread like this. I despair, i really do.0 -
So the question is is it the toilets are not cleaned properly and messes build up and build up, or that the people who use them are dirty b***ers?
Having IBD I am always grateful to make a toilet, any toilet, in time!0 -
The worst loos I've used recently have been in The Range and B&Q, The Range ones being the worst and absolutely disgusting. Daft when both stores stock cleaner, tiles and loo seats.0
