what are my chances?

My OH are after a house in Stockport that is on at 135950. It has been on the market since 1st Aug and has had a lot of interest but people are put off by the steps leading up to the property. Also the kitchen and bathroom could do with some improvements. I understand this will be considered when the EA value the property…

I made the first offer last thursday afternoon and then Monday morning. To be honest my husband and I are so miffed with the response we have got we are getting the impression it just isnt worth it. Have been looked further south at Darbyshire area as I think Stockport maybe just isnt for us. I will call in at the EA in the next few days and ask them face to face. We can then consider what we think, we will also casually mention it to the EA we are viewing elsewhere.
