No, unfortunately I didn't, I naively thought leather boots with that sort of price tag would be waterproof.:o
Is it too late now, or do you think I could salvage them to wear in the rain/snow?
you don't need the specific Ugg protector.
Any good water resistant protector spray will work fine.
Leather is a natural material and is not waterproof. It needs spraying with a water resistant protector spray to give it protection against the rain and stains.
you can pick a can up for around £3-£4 depending where you buy from.
Give the boots a clean if they are dirty.
Then spray them with a few coats of the spray.
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Sorry to drag this up again, but did anyone actually get the £10 voucher through from amazon?

No, I haven't. Just checked my e-mails because I forgot all about this and Amazon send so many that I thought I may have missed it, but it's definitely not been sent. Will e-mail now and chase it up.
I take it you didn't get yours either?
Thanks for the reminder, I'll let you know when I get a response.
p.s. I love the boots!!!0 -

Of course there are many other brands of sheepskin boot out there, and many are cheaper than Decker uggs. If people prefer them then great, but I bet there are some like me who want sheepskin boots and aesthically prefer look of the UA brand. Nothing to do with brand names which I'm sure will displease people who are obsessed with thinking that it is:cool:
Thanks for posting OP, I can't justify another pair atm though as the 3 I have are all still going strong. But they do look lovely and will def be my next ugg purchase.
Like Happi I don't want to offend but I can't understand why people with any sense buy Ugg (Australia brand ) boots intimating that they are being bought for practical reasons and they are the best quality. To my mind that is absolute nonsense. They are a fashion statement and that is what you are paying for (nothing wrong with that of course). However if I had paid that much for a sheepskin boot there's no way I'd ruin what is designed for the virtually snow free Australian climate in an English winter ( they are after all a boot designed for apres-surfing)
If you really want a good looking high quality sheepskin boot for longevity and warmth then order a pair of Kiwis at half the price(and they are not made in China like uGg Australia)Awaiting a new sig0
