When I opened my student account with Natwest they gave me a credit card, it was only like £100 limit and a stupidly high APR in the end I never even bothered to register the thing because I didn't want to be tempted to use it. Last year the sent me a letter telling me unless I used it within the next week it would be cancelled so I let them do that, however now things have changed and I could find it fairly useful - Is it likely they would allow me to have another one? or in fact is there any credit card company who would be willing to give me a card. Ive grown up a lot of the last few years and I know now I wont be tempted to use it for impulse buys I just think it could be useful for emergencies.

  • are you still a student with a natwest student account? if so see the student advisor at your branch and i see no reason why they wont offer another card, the usual limit for student cards from them is £500.
