Do ebay actually care about fee avoidance?

Normally they are speedy in removing listings, but I've lost count of the amount of times I've reported this guy.
There are 3 other listings I've reported too, last week, for duplication of my listing. All are still live.
Seems the purse strings are free and easy in the lead up to Cmas at Ebay HQ.

I have actually given up with T+S on eBay.
They happilly condone piracy and also no longer seem to care about fee evasion. Allegedly, in view of the items that I have been reporting over the last year or so.
Lets see what happens with these two:-
Item: 320624056912 -Philips Imageo LED Rechargeable Candle Lights, Blue (£20 P&P)
Item: 320624501861 Vax Mach 7 VZL-6017 Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner BNIB £79.90 P&P
Won't it be interesting!
Interestingly, this seller has ZERO feedback as a seller, all comes from being a buyer. I would BEWARE if I were you...I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
Sometimes ebay take action without ending a listing - the seller gets a warning but the listing remains active.0

they've got no fb as sellers, only stupid buyers will buy from them, those that you wish would never buy from you anyway, so they are doing you a favour
and with the stars they'll get they won't be around more than 5 minutes.0 -
As far as I can tell you can now 'get away' with the following;
State that you won't accept PayPal in your listing
List an item as 'new' and then say in listing that item is only a few months old, only been used a couple of times.
I've reported both & no action taken.0 -
A lot of the time though it is not so important for ebay to ban sellers as any buyer with half a brain won't bother with them. Those that over charge on p and p will eventually get such poor stars (assuming anyone does buy) that they will get suspended anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. totally agree, DSR are so strict nowadays that they don't stand a chance....
And I really meant what I said before, there needs to be someone buyers I don't want can buy from so that they stay away from me...
Recently someone with very poor stars has started selling some of the same stuff I sell, at low prices, great news for me, as the buyers who don't have a clue will go to them instead of causing me problems.
I don't know if it's just me but there is definitely a trend that when I sell at lower prices, mainly through auctions to improve visibility, kind of advertising, those are the buyers I get poor stars from.
I treat all the same, but those who pay higher prices for the same stuff are much easier to deal with, although I would have expected that they'd be fussy.
Go figure...0 -

I agree with you on that. On top of that the only people who leave bad feedback are those who haven't read the advert properly and they give low DSR rating for description, this is not fair as the item is always as described 99.98% of people can read it's the other 0.02% that ebay should protect us from.Lifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0 -

How do you know that they have not read the advert properly? Are you guessing or are they telling you?
I'm interested in the connection.
I've kind of stopped paying too much attention at the stars (except making sure they don't go too low) since I've realised they are totally random.
The only really bad ones I've ever had were from someone who left glowing feedback, really good comments, and where all went smoothly. Blocked of course, but god knows what they were thinking....0 -

In doing this I am interested to ask if you broke ebay feedback manipulation rules - see what is states about working out who left you low stars:

This bit raises a lot of hilarity on the community boards:
Taking actions or using tools to figure out the detailed seller ratings that a buyer left for a specific transaction (DSRs are meant to be anonymous)
As ebay supply the tools (and heavily encourage you to use them) to see where your poor feedback arises. The ebay tools allow you to see where and when detailed ratings were left and in what category.
So ebay tell you to use these tools to identify the ratings and then warn you that if you follow their advice you may have a problem.
