Argos online oredering system

I have spent the past hour re-entering my card details, the silly system is telling my they are invalid(they are not) and I can't order the goods i wanted now, anybody else had a problem using a visa electron on Argos online?
It's really pi***d me *&$"%&*$g off!

Is there not an option to select the card type, if so try selecting visa as card type

Yes, I have tried both Visa electron and debit options, whichever I choose it says invalid card number, I have the card infront of me whilst typing, I have more than enough funds to cover what I want, looks like another trip into town :mad:

I ended up going to my local Argos the following morning and getting rather annoyed with the CS lady who when I told her my problem replied "I don't know what to say", I asked her to find someone who would know what to say in that case, and she bought me the assistant manager, I explained to him and he said my card details must've been incorrect, which angered me more.
I took him over to the computer they have instore for online ordering and made him watch as I typed in my number(he really didn't want to do this, security I suppose but I wasn't bothered as I was trying to proove a point) anyway they didn't work and he was very apologetic.

I had a free delivery code off here so he honoured that even though it was to be used online that knocked £8.95 off the cost then he made a quick call and knocked a further 5% off the price = £12.99, saving me £21.94 all paid for with my card and it went through without a problem with the chip and pin machine at the till
I was very pleased with this of course!

Anyway moving on I was trying to get some more goods from a thread on here yesterday and had the same problem :mad:
this time I rang my bank to find out what the problem was after much confusion with the lady from my bank she read out my card number to me
Ermmmmmm I had 1 digit wrong due to some of the numbers slightly fading this really was impossible to notice without getting it right underneath a light..........:o

But how I laughed A for being such a plonker in the 1st place, B for stomping down to Argos doing that to the poor guy and C for getting a reasonable discount from them for no reason other than my need for glasses and a decent lamp
