I am passing this on to you after last nights cliff hanger with LoopyLouLou.
By following the simple advice I extracted in an article, I have finally found inner peace. The article read: “The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you’ve started”. So I looked around the house to see all the things I had started and hadn’t finished………… and before leaving earlier this morning I finished off a half a crate of Stella, a slightly opened bottle of Bacardi, part opened Southern Comfort, 4 bottles of WKD (There were six in the pack), the prozac, a few odd valium, an extra large bar of Galaxy (which had been opened in error??) half a cheesecake and a box of Milk Tray. You have no idea how Freakin’ good I feel. You may pass this on to all those other thread bearers who now feel in need of Inner Peace………."Did you hear about the frog that broke down on the motorway???? They toad him away!"0 -
Hmmm... I could say it's not looking promising, but I shall remain the optimist.0

I've just read through all 10 pages of this thread - and nothing!!!
Being positive though - if the lunch was asking her to take on more responsibility/a new project etc then it is quite likely that once she got back to the office she was busy doing stuff/meeting with HR to arrange her wonderful new salary package etc...

Anyone got a number or email address for her to check her boss hasn't kidnapped her? If she doesn't report back by the end of the day I'm calling the police!Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself. Oscar Wilde0
