    If he gets mid-rate or high rate care component of DLA, you will also be able to claim carer's allowance provided you meet the criteria (if you are not working, you will meet the criteria, but even if you get a p/t job, you may still get it).

    There are several organisations out there for example the CAB who will be able to help if you fill it it if required.

    You really should try and get help with completing the form, it is riddled with pitfalls for the unwary, and the last thing you want is to battle with an appeal because you didn't understand what information to include.
