Philips LCD Televsions?

I'm thinking of buying a new LCD tv - in the past I have always been pleased with my conventional tv's all if which have been Philips, so I am prepared to stay loyal to Philips if I can pick up a set with good reviews. Looking at retailers there seem to be a wide range of sets available in the 32' range we are looking at. The basic sets tend to start at around £650-800, then there are 'Pixel Plus' models in the region of £900-£1000 and then Pixel Plus 2/3 which are £1200+.

Can anyone with similar tv's let me have thier views on their set? Is it worth paying extra for the additonal pixel technology? One of the benefits of the Philips sets is that they tend to have 2 hdmi inputs, whereas most other brands seem to have just 1, however I would be open to suggestions on other brands if you have any.

No idea but it's worth looking at http://www.avforums.com there's lots of info and reviews on there. Sometimes it all gets a bit geeky and too in depth but it's a very useful site.

I recently bought the Sony KDL-32V2000. It's won several awards including what hi-fi. It's HD ready, but the standard picture is amazing compared to the other TVs that we looked at. It was a little pricey at £1,050 but came with a "free" dvd recorder.
