Needing a business account i'm a bit worried about it...

Okay , i've just moved house after living at my past address for 15 years , its my house and mortgage free , currently letting the property out , all is well.
Anyway i've lived at my current address for around 1 month (just about to go on the electoral roll on December the 1st)
i applied for a 30 day rolling contract mobile phone with tmobile before going on the electoral role , they declined me saying i had low credit rating.....this is because , at my last address , i had no need for credit , although i have a credit card , my mobile phone contract was part of my business registered at another address and of course i paid all the usual stuff via direct debit , electric , phone , etc etc , all paid on time with no issues.
in the mean time , i have now got a 3 mobile phone 30 day sim only deal , the electric , gas , phone bill/internet is in my name , so i will hopefully be showing as paying my way at this address.
Anyway i feel a tad more confident that my name will be on the electoral roll where i live on the 1st of december showing nationally in a couple of weeks time i'm told !
with my move of location i have left my postion with my old business , i was a company director.....with my move down to my new location i had decided to take a chill time untill say the new year , then i would like to go and open a business account.
but now i'm concerned , if tmobile would not give me a £15.00 month 30 day contract , am i likely to be able to get a business bank account......
things have moved on since i tried to buy the tmobile phone offer , such as bills been in my name and the electoral roll.
i do have a current account with a overdraft (not in debit in full credit) with the halifax and i do have a few savings products with Santandar , but i'm thinking i might prefere to go with my old business bank for the same banking Natwest.
sorry its so long winded but i thought it best to pick the full case across.
opinions welcomed and help please on how to higher my credit rating in general would be great.
