Tax credits whilst caring?

Hi, I have just been offered a job for 24 hours a week, I am also a carer for my partner and I have been out of work for a few years due to caring for him. He gets lower rate DLA care. Can I claim working tax credits for working over 16 hours if my partner is disabled? Also if I end up working more than 30hours every week from overtime, will I then be entitled for wtc for working over 30 hours? (ie do they take an average or is it from your contract hours?) Also is there anything else I can claim to help with getting back to work? I heard somtimes you get a back to work grant.
Thanks
